Item Description
DEPO brand e46 Projectors also feature projectors at a very reasonable price over OEM. Upgrade your weak pitted, broken and/or yellowed US lighting assemblies to these projector versions for a complete transformation and much better visibility in under an hour.

The lamps have a sharp vertical lighting cut-off that allows use of higher wattage bulbs or HID assemblies without blinding oncoming traffic. Replaceable glass front lenses will not dull or yellow like plastic US lenses.

HID Lighting Option
Since this is a true projector housing, you can run our HID assemblies without excessive glare to oncoming traffic with increased visibility. Don't forget to add lens protection to protect your new investment.


HID Information
HID (High Intensity Discharge) refers to lighting technology that relies on an electrical charge to ignite xenon gas contained in a sealed bulb. A normal halogen bulb uses a filament which can burn out in as little as 250 hours. HID bulbs are gas filled capsules that are rated for a life span of 2500-4000 hours and shine brighter using only 35-55 watts of electricity.

Unlike halogens, HID's emit a type of light that closely resembles natural daylight and is easier on human eyes. In fact, HID lights are currently used in most sports arenas, stadiums, and train stations worldwide. Don't be fooled by lower end Xenon replica bulbs sold at most retail shops. They are no match for the intensity, purity, and efficiency of high intensity discharge headlights.

Color Temperatures
Higher temperature does not mean increased light output. Color temperature is a measurement in Kelvin (K) that indicates the hue of the light source. All HIDs are so bright they are gauged to sunlight and the color that the sun will be at that temperature. As the color temperature increases, the light output of the HID is reduced.

- 8000K = blue
- 6000K = blue-white
- 5000K = white (peak light output)
- 4300K = white (peak light output OEM color temp)
- 3000K = gold-yellow (yellow)

Installation
Our kits are designed to fit original stock headlamp sockets without modification, making installation a simple plug and play process. Often times installation can be done individually in a matter of minutes. But a professional installer is always recommended for performance and safety reasons.

CCFL (Cold Cathode Florescent Lighting) Halo Upgrade
Upgrade the halogen angel eye assemblies to CCFL technology for increased AE brightness, even in daylight. CCFL rings will arrive preinstalled and assembled for you to make the upgrade quick and painless.

Add corner and side marker light options to complete the euro look.
